Just got an email from Jing project they were acquired by Techsmith… well, the exact wording is
And we are pleased to announce that Jing is officially becoming a TechSmith product offering!
No offense but I’m more excited that Jing is still going to be free AND it’s Jing’s 1st birthday. Happy Birthday Jing project! :)
Btw, for those unfamiliar with Jing, it’s a screen capture software that’s super easy to use. The best part about Jing is that it uploads images right to your hosting service like Flickr Chris Pirillo explains it better here and watch his video review for CNN here I used it for a while, but switched to Skitch since Skitch hosts images and keeps my Flickr clutter free. Sorry to PC users, Skitch is only for Macs =(
What screen capturing service do you use? Am I missing something good out there? If so, fill me in!
