Steve Jobs on Design

(Design) It’s not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works.
— Steve Jobs, The New York Times, 2003

This man speaks the truth. Intuitive UIs ftw. Facebook can learn a thing or two from Jobs. — just saying.

  1. Maybe the designers at Facebook are going for a casino effect? If things were more streamlined there, people wouldn’t be so distracted and stick around following different threads (and get exposure to ads). It’s all about the almighty buck IMO.

  2. That would work, if only apps were monetizing. The numbers have been awful since the redesign, since no one can find the EFin apps (thank goodness — less invites. sheesh!)

FB is like OpenID. Good in theory but a total FAIL implementation wise. :|
